We decided to take a break from the beach so that our sunburns could heal a bit and headed out to the Aloha Stadium Flea Market to pick up our souvenirs. When we were all tired and hot, we wanted some lunch. Since we were all craving some local "grinds," we sought out the Rainbow Drive-in's plate lunches on the recommendation of a University of Hawaii assistant coach. Conor used his iPhone for directions. We found a parking spot, and realized we needed change for the meter. Conor noticed a guy in the car behind us, went to ask him for some change, and then discovered that we were no where near Rainbow Drive-in. After some discussion, the locals actually had us follow them from Waikiki area to Kapahulu. So cool. And the food was so good! Max could not get enough of the boneless chicken.
We walked around Waikiki for a while, but we were all hot and tired and headed back to the resort. We got cleaned up for dinner. My father-in-law generously offered to watch Max for us, so we got to go out, just me, Greg, and Cheryl and Conor.
