Max and Speech Therapy

Max has been going to speech therapy for about 8 months. When he first started, he tested about 9 months behind where he should be. However, due to the work of his fantastic therapist Jami, we did a test about 6 months after he started, and Max tested right at his age (when corrected for the 2 months he was premature) which was amazing, but even more astounding was that we tested him informally about a week ago and he tested at (get ready for this...) 3 years 1 month! That's almost a year ahead of his actual age! (He is 2 years 3 months). For anyone who knows the struggles we've been through, you know that this is really a miracle. Needless to say, Max no longer needs therapy. We will, of course, make sure he keeps developing and will probably test him in about 6 months, but we could not be happier about the progress he's made. Thank you, Jami! We love you!Max and Jami on Max's last day of therapy.
